Vincent Tholomé is a Belgian French-speaking poet and performer. Has written a dozen books (the best known are Bang !, Photomaton, The John Cage Experiences and Kirkjubaejarklaustur). His next book, Cavalcade, will be published this year in Quebec (Rodrigol) and France (Le Clou dans le Fer). For The John Cage Experiences, he received the Prix Triennal de Poésie de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles in 2011. Vincent has performed in solo, duos, and trios in France, Belgium, USA, Quebec, Hungary, and Switzerland, and as a member of several collective and multimedia bands (Big band de littératures féroces, (kwad), Troupe poétique nomade). With Maja Jantar and Sebastian Dicenaire, he has created the Trio Wyrd, which adapted Kirjubaejarklaustur for performance and radio broadcast. In 2011, this radio adaptation received the Prix spécial du jury, during the Europa Festival in Berlin. With Maja Jantar, Xavier Dubois (guitar) and Gaëtan Saint-Rémy (cineast), he's working on a multimedia adaptation of his last book, Cavalcade.
